Moving Services

Trucking provides a variety of moving services, including:

Moving office furniture or equipment between rooms in the same building
Transporting office furniture or equipment between buildings on campus

NOTE: When requesting a move, please be as specific as possible. State the exact type and quantity of items being moved.

Examples:

Correct: 23 banker boxes, 2 desks, 7 (full) filing cabinets, 4 chairs
Incorrect: Couple of boxes, some desks and stuff

Tables, chairs, trash cans, and staging are all available for set up on campus. Refer to equipment list for available items and refer to services available for pricing. All jobs must have a work order request form completed and received by Facilities Management Work Desk before being scheduled. To request services, you must submit a Work Order Request Form or contact Molly O'Bryan at 859-257-8646 or molly.obryan@uky.edu.

Waste Management

Waste management is handled by PPD Trucking. Central Kentucky Hauling has been contracted to empty dumpsters and compactors around campus. If you notice a problem with any dumpster or compactor on campus or notice that one needs to be serviced, contact Waste Management at 859-257-1671 or wm@uky.edu.
