Facilities Management is a service organization composed of units that plan, construct, manage, operate and maintain the physical assets (buildings, grounds and utility systems) of the university. Planning Design and Construction is responsible for planning and executing the university's construction plan. We assist in creating the master plan of capital improvements, hire the architects and engineers to design the planned renovations and new construction projects, and manage the entire planning, design, and construction process. We liaise with our university clients and project stakeholders to ensure their needs are met along the way.
Facilities Management Healthcare (FMHC) provides high quality, professional facilities services to support the healthcare, research, and educational programs of the University of Kentucky Healthcare complex through innovative and cost effective preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, renovations and life safety initiatives.
