Every year, UK Recycling celebrates America Recycles Day on November 15th! The celebrations are filled with fun activities to help educate our community about what's recyclable on campus.
UK Recycling partners with multiple community groups to host DIY Day. This event provides tools and teaches skills on how to live a low-waste life. This event features how-tos like changing a bicycle tire and mending clothes.

In the fall, UK Recycling partners with UK Grad-Family and other campus organizations to showcase our campus sustainability efforts and programs that are available to students and their families.
Each spring, UK Recycling collects donations of unwanted clothing and hosts a Thrift Shop Pop Up for students. UK Recycling partners with multiple campus organizations to host this exciting event.
