Big Blue Recycling Crew

Are you interested in increasing recycling at UK home football games? The Big Blue Recycling Crew is a collaborative effort between UK Recycling and UK Athletics to increase recycling at Kroger Field. UK Recycling is excited to hire 20 student workers to visit tailgate lots to provide education and outreach about recycling and waste reduction with fans. 

Big Blue Crew Responsibilities

• Assists with set up and breakdown of UK Recycling tailgate tent
• Provides education and outreach in the tailgate lots
  • Walks assigned tailgate lot
  • Provides friendly interactions with fans
• Advises fans on whether items are recyclable

• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards fans
