To better serve you, Facilities Management has restructured its approach to building maintenance. We have placed Facilities Management staff and area offices out on campus to help us improve communication, efficiency and overall satisfaction. UK’s Main Campus now has four designated areas offices. They are staffed with a manager, who will serve as the primary liaison between Facilities Management and the building occupants, two supervisors, and a team of technicians assigned to the area buildings.Area-wise contact information:
Additionally, Facilities Management maintains Central and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Groups, based out of the Peterson Service building. FM Central Group services requests like signage, plumbing, exterior lighting, door hardware, interior and exterior painting, masonry, estimation and construction for small projects. This group also has Licensed Electricians, Electronic Techs, Sheet Metal, Carpenters and Welders.FM PM Group schedules and performs campus preventive maintenance programs for buildings and equipment. This group is critical to effective asset management as to equipment in the buildings, finding and predicting repairs and the inspection and testing of Life Safety Equipment and Systems to ensure the safety of all on our campus.Contact information:
