What we do

  • Health and Safety for all Campus Facilities Management employees
  • Assist services groups with Health and Safety issues
  • Work with the University Health and Safety Program on various issues
  • Provide Campus Facilities Management Health and Safety training online and in a classroom
  • Oversee mold remediation projects
  • Prepare a quarterly Health and Safety Newsletter
  • Investigate on-the-job injuries (OJI), mishaps and incidents
  • Maintain databases on OJI and Vehicle Accidents within Campus Facilities Management
  • Creating Safety Data Sheet Database for Chemicals Used within Campus Facilities Management
  • Maintain the Campus Facilities Management Health and Safety Website
  • Participate in University Motor Vehicle Accident Review Board, University Safety Committee and Parking Violation Appeal Committee
